Elbow rehabilitation

The elbow is a hinge joint comprising of 3 bones (the humerus, radius and ulna) which is stabilised by 4 main ligaments (medial and ulnar collateral, annular and quadrate ligaments) and mobilised by 4 main muscles (biceps, brachioradialis, brachialis and triceps). Fractures, arthritis, ligament and tendon injuries are common at the elbow either through sport, workplace overuse or other trauma. Our therapists are highly experienced in assessing and treating these injuries and work closely with specialists if surgery is required.
