Heather graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Since then, she has worked within the private sector focusing on the NDIS, My Aged Care and DVA as well as NSW Health in the public sector with focus on neurology, orthopaedics and acute hand therapy. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family including her dog Winnie & playing netball.
Pam is an experienced Occupational Therapist who recently joined our team in February 2024. With over 20 years of experience in the public service, Pam is passionate about helping others improve their quality of life through hand therapy.
Sarah relocated to the South Coast from Sydney in 2022 having worked extensively in hand therapy at The Sydney Hospital Hand Unit and Royal North Shore Hospital. She an Associate Member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association and is known for her fantastic splints, especially dynamic finger Capener splints!
Cate established Hands on Hand Therapy (NSW) in 2007 to provide specialised hand therapy services in Kiama before opening the Nowra and Bowral locations as the practice grew.
Emma received her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the Australian Catholic University in 2017. Since graduating, she has worked in the public hospital sector in rehabilitation and geriatric settings, where she enjoyed assisting patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Meredith joined Hands on Hand Therapy in late 2020 after 30 + years at Nowra Private Hospital, the last 8 years of which she was Manager of Allied Health. With a background in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries Meredith’s upper limb treatment also includes a wholistic approach. She has been a member of the APA for 42 years and is an associate member of the AHTA.
Barbara is a Physiotherapist originally hailing from Sydney. She spent 22 years in the Jervis Bay area while raising 3 children and working in both Private Practice and hospital settings.
Abby grew up in the Ulladulla region before moving to Sydney to study Occupational Therapy at ACU, graduating in 2016. She developed a love for hand therapy during her final student clinical placement with Hands on Hand Therapy in Nowra and Kiama.
Sam works in both the private and public sectors providing specialised hand therapy services. When not working, Sam enjoys Pilates, travel and spending time with her family.
Kate graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney in 2019. She has worked in both private and public hand therapy sectors, recently rejoining the workforce after a year of maternity leave. Outside of work, Kate enjoys rock climbing, Pilates and family time.
Monica graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons) from the University of Newcastle in 2015. She has worked across public and private hospital settings and the NDIS sector, with a strong focus on supporting individuals to increase their independence and improve their quality of life.
Monique joined the Hands-on Hand Therapy team in 2025 as the Practice Manager and administration support. With a passion for patient focused care, she is dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation for Hands on Hand Therapy.
