Cate Menzies, the Principal of Hands on Hand Therapy (NSW) is an Occupational Therapist who graduated with Honours from Sydney University in 1991. From the very beginning of her career as an OT, Cate fell in love with hand injury rehabilitation and decided to dedicate her career to this area. Cate worked at Calvary Hospital in Canberra before relocating to England in 1995 to work in the area of Hand Rehabilitation. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Hand & Upper Limb Rehabilitation through Curtin University in 1999.
In 1996 Cate was employed at Orange Base Hospital as the senior OT in Hand Rehabilitation before establishing her private practice, Orange Hand Rehabilitation in 2001. The family relocated to Kiama in 2006 for a sea change and Cate established Hands on Hand Therapy (NSW) in 2007 to provide specialised hand therapy services in Kiama before opening the Nowra and Bowral locations as the practice grew.
Cate is a member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association, a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and an Associate member of the NSW Hand Surgery Association. When she is not at work, Cate is busy with her husband and children on their farm.
